In life, it’s easy to shout to the choir. Yell. Screach. Scream. It does little good. I came across a fitting Haiku today from the book Becoming Wise (great read so far, but I’m not to the end just yet):

Don’t ask the mountain
to move, just take a pebble
each time you visit.

Words matter. Think the long game. Then again,

Come to the mountain,
fight to the bitter end,
and hold the high ground.
