And then you could purchase the yearly updates with noted changes and current events. My family skipped 1988. The encyclopedia salesperson didn’t come around that year.
Still, you could dig up info on about any topic. Bridges. States. Shakespeare. Presidents. Iron. Carbon. I do reminisce flipping through the gold tipped pages. It was a guilty pleasure and a necessity to get through high school. For old times sake, I did give the current site a look over today.
